About My Commentary
I am L.C. Thornton, of Stone, Mountain, Georgia. As one of the founders of The People’s Voice Black Weekly News, I started to write a weekly column, simply called “LC’s Commentary.”
Since I started writing this weekly column, much interest has been shown in the content and the nature of my articles.
Therefore, this blog has been set up for those who may have an interest in what I’m saying and who I’m saying it to.
The publisher of The People’s Voice recently published a Media Release that appeared on blacknews.com, in which my commentary was highlighted. For those who may be interested, here is a link to that media release:

This media release generated much interest in black youth and got people thinking more seriously about what we as a race must do to effectively guide and direct them away from a path of self-destruction.
Here on my blog, you are welcome to review my writing, and if you’d like, to comment.
I think we have the blog set up so you have to join in order to comment. But, by all means, do so.

I love your site. Keep it up !
Very informative and thought provoking…. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and feelings.
Thanks for taking the time to read some of my rantings and ravings. I, along with three of my siblings were instrumental in getting the paper started. Others in the small community of Roanoke Alabama were instrumental in getting the paper started. Due to dwindling support and lack of ads, the paper folded a few years ago. I am sure you can see links to it on the internet(thepeoplesvoice) There is some interest in restarting the paper since the economy has picked up. Please continue to read my articles and comment as you see fit. Please disregard all omissions, poor punctuations and misspellings.
Thanks again for taking the time to read my articles.
